Return Policy
At Bluewater Marine Electronics we value your satisfaction and strive to provide you with the best products and services. We understand that sometimes returns and refunds may be necessary. Our refund and return policy for purchases related to trolling motors, shallow water anchors, GPS’s, audio systems. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and meet the eligibility criteria.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
*The item must be unused, unopened, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
*Proof of purchase, such as the order number, invoice or receipt, must be provided.
We will accept returns and exchanges within 14 days from the date of purchase under the refund policy of the manufacturer.
The return or exchange request must be initiated within the specified timeframe. A Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number is required, and returned products may incur a restocking fee of up to 25%.
Some brands are non-refundable, or no exchange is allowed. The following items are: Open software, mapping/chart data cards, programmed AIS units, trolling motors (opened, install or used) freight truck only items, and special-order items. Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable. Installation is non-refundable.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. Please allow [5-7 of days] for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account. Speak to our sales department prior to purchase.
Non-Defective Returns:
Eligible non-defective products may be returned for a full refund minus shipping paid (if any). To be eligible for a non-defective return, your merchandise must be unused/unopened and must be in the original packaging. Non-defective returns that show signs of installation/use, missing parts/packaging, missing proof of purchase/UPC code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records will not be accepted. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective returns. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of value. Bluewater Marine Electronics Inc. is not liable for lost or damaged return packages.
General – Cancellations, Shipping Damage, Missing Packages, Shipment Refusals:
Orders that you submit online are processed immediately and may not be cancelled, and you may need to wait until you receive the merchandise in order to return it. Claims of shipment damage, incorrect/missing items, or non-receipt of goods must be made within seven (7) days. Customer is responsible for all costs associated with refused shipments or return to sender (RTS) shipments including carrier fees, freight to the customer, and return freight. We reserve the right to refuse returns that are sent COD, without a return authorization, show signs of undisclosed installation/use, has missing parts/packaging, missing proof of purchase/UPC code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records. If you do not comply with any of the above conditions, We reserve the right to refuse the return/exchange, or to impose different or additional conditions.
